An Eulogy...
This is hard-core nerdery, but credit where credit's due.
As you may know, The Micturating Angel's primary source material is a series of girls comics from the 1970s called TAMMY. One of the stories I used there was Bella at the Bar - the story of a gymnast. Bella was in fact the first Angel to appear in issue 1 of The Micturating Angel.
The original Bella was created by a man named John Armstrong - who recently passsed away.
Here's an eulogy by Pat Mills (creator of 2000AD comics):

"His stories were always number one because he had a skill that is valued highly by girls and, hopefully, by a male audience, too. Namely he was a master of facial expression. Because he had astonishing insights into the female psyche. This is a genius talent that is barely recognized today, but one I have always valued and so did John’s readers. Whereas on a typical male comic, the characters might have a range of – say, 10 facial expressions for happy, sad, angry and determined, John would have 50! So his heroines could show a spectrum of feelings ranging from mild irritation to extreme anguish. The same range and complexity you would expect from a real life actor."

Another non-Angel update... you'll love it
I am still working on the next few chapters of the Angel, and the cartoon will be launched NEXT MONTH (ie: March).
But I'm also busy on other collage projects such as the Infinite Collage project with Mat Blackwell (the what? Go HERE to see.)
Last weekend we unrolled a piece of string to see how long the infinite collage would be in real life - since we get that question a lot. Currently the Great Work measures in at 78.4m/ 256 feet.
The measuring did not go without its problems and we filmed it all, so BEHOLD!, an amazing real-and-true live-action documentary, shot last weekend!!! Thrills! Laughs! Lens flares! And length!! Such length!!!

This is a real and true documentary, just like Highlander.

Another cartoon update + Infinite Collage FTW
The cartoon is done. It's animated, it's voiced, it's scored, it's brilliant.
Launch will be next year (2018).
But until then: The Infinite Collage has been updated! So go have a look NOW!
If you don't know what the IC is - just go have a look. You've not seen nothing like it!
